Union County Sherriff Deputies reported that they responded to a dog attack on Monday in Jonesville, SC. A woman was attacked in her own yard by a loose boxer-pit-bull mix. When the attack happened, the victim was in the process of walking her own dog, a small Chihuahua, who was on a leash. The loose put-bull mix attacked the victim and her dog. Unfortunately, the Chihuahua could not be found after the attack. The victim was taken to the hospital and it is anticipated that she will need additional surgery in future. Currently, the attacking dog has been captured and is being held by animal control.
