A distressed vehicle driver was killed after he was struck as a pedestrian by a vehicle on a highway in Fort Mill, NBC Charlotte reported on January 17.
Reports coming from the state’s Highway Patrol revealed that the accident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on Interstate 77, near the state border. Driver Stephen Mosher, 61, had just been involved in an earlier accident. When he got out of his vehicle, possibly to inspect damage, he was struck by another oncoming vehicle. Mosher died on the accident scene. Authorities temporarily blocked the lane where the accident occurred. As of reporting, charges were not yet filed against the driver that struck Mosher; the driver from the first wreck was not thought to play a part.
