Two people were killed and seven others injured in a DUI-related crash in South Carolina, and charges have been filed against the driver who instigated the accident, WYFF reported on September 9.
Reports said the accident occurred on September 7 before 8:00 p.m. when the side of the vehicle driven by Joshua Adam Silvers was struck by a vehicle driven by Drew Greene on Sandifer Boulevard. Silvers and his wife Michele both died in the accident, the Oconee County Coroner’s Office confirmed. Three other vehicles were involved in the crash and seven other people were injured. Two charges of felony DUI with a death were filed against Greene, who is currently booked at Oconee County Detention Center with. The total bail for both of his charges is set at $100,000.
