Authorities in Greenville County are still identifying the body of the recent victim of a fatal hit-and-run, an article on wyff4.com reported October 15.
Kent Dill of the Greenville County Coroner’s Office stated that they are waiting for the release of the DNA results for clear identification of the pedestrian. The victim reportedly was struck by a vehicle October 9 on White Horse Road near Lily Street. Authorities said that the unidentified man was probably in his late teens or twenties. He did not have an identification card with him, and his fingerprints did not provide any matches in their preliminary findings. A vigil was held for high school sophomore Isaiah McGuinness, whom many believe is the victim of the fatal accident. Investigating authorities are currently looking for a dark-colored 1990s Lexus sedan in connection with the crash.
