Automaker Nissan recently issued a recall of its new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) models due to a potential steering problem that could endanger occupants, The Car Connection reported on July 1.
Reports said the recall affects some 2014 Nissan Rogue SUVs that may have had the wrong bolt installed on the upper steering column while in the manufacturing stage. Steering problems may arise in these vehicles if the bolt loosens. Owners of the affected vehicles are advised to contact Nissan for more information or visit a dealership to have the vehicles’ steering column checked.
