The widow of Roger Rodas, the driver involved in the deadly crash last November that killed both him and actor Paul Walker, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche, Fox News reported on May 13.
Kristine Rodas claimed that the Porsche vehicle that her husband was operating lacked an adequate crash cage and gas tank safety features that might have prevented the two occupants from dying in the accident. The lawsuit also claims that a problem in the suspension system caused the vehicle to veer out of control and strike several trees. Contrary to official reports, Kristine stated on court documents that Roger was only driving 55 mph when the fiery crash occurred. This is based off of information from experts hired by her attorney who also examined the wreckage.
